Basic Purpose and Objective of Job
As the cornerstone of our retail and pawn brokerage operations, the Outlet Manager is instrumental in achieving the company's objectives by ensuring operational efficiency, sales growth, and a high level of customer service. This role demands a dynamic leader who can inspire a team, foster strong customer relationships, and drive the store towards achieving its financial and operational goals.
Operations and Procedures
- Collaborate with Operations Manager to oversee daily store operations, ensuring adherence to legal and company standards.
- Uphold store reputation by ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
- Implement and enforce operational and company policies and procedures, maintaining operational integrity.
- Manage cash and negotiable items with strict adherence to financial policies.
- Ensure comprehensive store security and act as the primary or secondary key holder.
Leadership, Mentor and Develop
- Schedule, assign, and oversee team tasks, ensuring operational goals are met.
- Utilize in-house training materials to provide essential on-the-job training.
- Oversee the induction program for new hires, ensuring a smooth integration into the team.
- Elevate team knowledge and skills in evaluating and appraising valuable items.
- Foster team performance and development, identifying and preparing potential leaders for advancement.
Customer Relations
- Lead and motivate a team of sales and valuation experts to enhance customer experience and store profitability.
- Model exceptional customer service, selling the standard for the team.
- Address and resolve customer issues within operational guidelines, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs to improve service and negotiation.
Sales and Pawn
- Set and achieve monthly sales and loan targets.
- Develop strategies to increase store footfall and customer engagement.
- Communicate and motivate the team towards achieving store KPIs effectively.
- Manage store budget, ensuring financial goals are met.
Stock Inventory and Visual Merchandise
- Oversee inventory management processes, ensuring product availability and stock optimization.
- Ensure attractive and timely merchandise presentation, enhancing store appeal.
Additional Responsibilities
- Conduct market surveys to monitor competitor activities.
- Serve as the main contact for various departments, facilitating effective communication and operations.
Tools and Equipment
- Operate all tools and equipment required for the job, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in sales and valuations.
Training
- Attend comprehensive training programs, including obtaining tool and equipment certification, to refine skills and adhere to operational standards.
