Basic Purpose and Objective of Job
Are you a recent graduate ready to dive into a dynamic and structured career journey? We’re looking for driven Graduate Trainees to join our team under a 24-month development program tailored to equip you with the experience and skills to thrive in one of our core departments: Business Improvement, Retail Operations, or Merchandising.
Selected candidates will be offered a Graduate Trainee position in a specific department at the point of offer and will undergo a structured program designed to build cross-functional awareness, deep departmental expertise, and leadership potential.
Program Structure:
- First 5 Months – Cross-Departmental Attachment
- Gain broad exposure through attachments to key departments other than your own.
- Understand how different teams interconnect to drive overall business performance.
- Build foundational knowledge to support effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Share your learnings, insights and ideas in a wrap-up presentation to your mentors and managers.
- Next 18 Months – Departmental On-the-Job Training
- Continue your journey in the department your were orginally hired into.
- Deepen your expertise through hands-on training, real-time problem solving and leading key projects.
- Receive structured coaching, regular performance reviews and personalized development planning.
- Leadership Development:
- Participate in cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives.
- Build the confidence, agility and leadership capabilities essential for future management roles.
- Learn to influence, collaborate and drive results in a business environment.
Department Overviews
- Business Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies, analyse data, and work with stakeholders to implement digital and automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency, streamline workflows and boost overall operational effectiveness.
- Merchandising
- Be part of the team that shapes product strategy – from market research and trend analysis to supplier management, pricing strategy, and merchandising control.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- A recognize university degree in any discipline
- Minimum of 1 year of working experience in any field (including internship and part-time)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with data and generate actionable insights
- Energetic, pro-active, adaptable and eager to learn
- Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills
- Resilient, curious and creative thinker
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
