SENIOR SYSTEM ANALYST

Roles & Responsibilities

Join our dynamic IT project team to lead and innovate on a range of in-house projects developed from the ground up using Outsystems. This role offers the unique opportunity to collaborate with both our internal IT project Teams and OutSystems vendor teams with technical solutions, working closely with diverse stakeholders across the organisation.

• Collaborate extensively with project teams, vendors, and business users to transform complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, with a focus on microservices architecture.
• Tackle architectural challenges, delivering scalable, high-performance, and robust OutSystems applications.
• Share knowledge and best practices within the team, enhancing overall development capabilities.
• Ensure seamless integration between various modules and external systems to provide a cohesive user experience.
• Critically evaluate vendor-delivered OutSystems components, ensuring their designs meet our standards for effectiveness and efficiency.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts on OutSystems-related issues, optimizing application performance and ensuring operational efficiency.
• Challenge feature requirements constructively, focusing on adding value to the business.
• Engage in company-wide initiatives, contributing to the broader goals of the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years as Systems Analyst, with at least 3 years focused on OutSystems platform development.
• Strong foundation of SQL/PostgreSQL and experience in data modelling.
• Proficiency in C# for API development (microservice), as well as JAVA, PHP and JSON.
• Familiarity with Process Marker software will be considered an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in Agile development environments.
• A result-oriented approach, with high level of responsibility and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• A strong commitment to team success, coupled with a desire to contribute to company=wide objectives.
• An inquisitive mindset, with a continuous drive to learn and share knowledge.
