Job Purpose
This role manages shopper marketing activities and is responsible for the conceptualization of the visual merchandising plans. You are to oversee the set-up of merchandise display by coaching in-store teams. You are also responsible for market research efforts relating to visual merchandising.
Visual Merchandising (VM)
• Be the key contact person for all local VM matters and work with Singapore Marketing Team to create new ideas and concepts for brand and marketing initiatives
• Ensure store and counter displays are updated and changed according to the marketing campaigns
• Audit stores’ VM guidelines, ensuring they are adhered to the approved planogram
• Develop new props and packaging
• Design and develop thematic display environment / seasonal themes for various campaign occasions
• Coordinate with vendors on store installation and prepare all artworks for the stores
• Communicate and manage VM design and aesthetics approvals in revamp / new counters
• Identify and propose necessary display or props to enhance customers’ shopping journey to the stores
• Monitor costs and work within yearly budget for VM
• Measure effectiveness of change in visual merchandising displays
• Conduct research on visual merchandising and shopper trends
• Assess competitors’ visual merchandising strategies
• Coordinate with various internal departments to set up new store openings
• Coordinate with marketing and events team on the planning and set-up of all events on ad-hoc basis
Creative Production
• Design and produce all in-store point-of-sale materials and graphics
• Create and design all marketing collaterals for both print and digital according to the new launch and promotion calendars
• Create and design any event-related artworks, such as invitation cards, props, store activities, etc
Others
• Provide guidance to executives in VM and artwork layouts
• Engage in service innovation initiatives to improve processes, internal and external stakeholders’ experience
